'Ease' is a stool designed in collaboration with fellow students Bern Flaxman-Hendriks and Tom Cresswell. We designed Ease as part of our 200 level Furniture design paper. I was involved in building prototypes, upholstering and overall making the design more user friendly. the stool is designed to sit in a doorframe, where the user can easily remove their shoes. The rounded edges and soft lines along the shoe remover panel and frame were some of my direct design contributions, along with prototyping many upholstered cushions.
